Savier Privacy Policy (Extension and Website)
Your privacy is important to us and we are committed to protecting your personal information.
Savier uses data to optimize the product experience and help users save time and money, all in a secure and anonymous way
This document outlines how Savier collects and handles data from its browser extension, mobile app and this website.
If we require additional personal data, we will inform you and seek your consent. Please note, Savier links to third-party websites with their own privacy policies.
The extension & app
Our app and browser extension, Savier, collects data only from supported webshops. On other websites, we do collect the visited URL for targeting purposes in some cases. However, we do not store the URL – only the domain name.
The extension reports user interactions in supported webshops. This data enables the core features and helps improve the user experience. We do not collect any personal or sensitive information in this process without your consent.
This information is collected when using the iOS app
-
- No name, address, email or login is required to use Savier. We do not collect any personal information.
- We do not share your data with other apps unless you explicitly consent to it.
- With your consent, the app may share limited data with Meta and TikTok to measure the number of app installs. This is done via an SDK, which is a third-party tool used to collect or analyze data. We use it to optimize how an app is used and its marketing strategy.
- Local storage means that certain data is stored directly on your device. This data may include user preferences and app settings.
- The extension is part of the app, so see the bulleted list below to see an exhaustive list of data
Disse oplysninger indsamles ved brug af udvidelsen (Chrome og Safari)
-
-
- When a user visits a page, the extension checks the domain to see if it is a supported web store. If so, it sends page information to determine next steps, like applying discount codes or displaying reviews.
- The extension tests discount codes to assess their effectiveness and update its algorithm.
- Manually entered discount codes are only collected and shared with permission from the original user
- Important: We encourage you to avoid sharing exclusive codes with either Savier or anyone else.
- On supported shops, the extension collects data such as visitor counts, basket amounts, savings and transactions.
- General product information such as price and availability is also recorded.
- We have Google Analytics on the extension so we can analyze behavioral data such as user behavior and device information – see below.
- Savier does not under any circumstances resell data that may reveal individual user behavior.
-
